Policy areas

Diversity and Inclusion

We are experts in designing diversity and inclusion strategies which are co-created in a participatory process that takes into account needs and perspectives of both employees and leadership of the organisation. Among various projects, our portfolio includes the diagnosis of the situation of citizens of Cracow coming from vulnerable groups, which serves to guide the Cracow for Equality Programme.

Decision-making in politics

We have a long-track record in analysing women’s role in decision-making all around the globe.  Our experience of working in the parliamentary context allows us not only to perform comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis as well as designing tailor made tools aimed at empowering parliamentarians to become agents of change. Our portfolio includes collaborations with UN Women, Inter-Parliamentary Union, Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, OSCE ODHIR.

Gender mainstreaming

Sustainable institutional change entails solutions ensuring that gender equality is an integral part of policies, plans and programmes. Therefore, gender mainstreaming is at the core of our work. We created Gender Equality Action Plans along with Monitoring and Evaluation systems. The Gender Equality Plan for the City of Cracow prepared by our team has become a benchmark for other cities in Poland.

Labour market and social policy

Our research studies focus on evaluating the consequences of public policies for the labour market, education, entrepreneurship and family policy. We combine socio-economic approach with legal analysis of national and international regulations. Among many studies in which members of our team performed as Country Experts, the report “Gender equality and the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic” prepared for the European Institute of Gender Equality should be highlighted.

Innovation

We understand that innovations should arise from a clear understanding of the needs and problems of our Clients. While working within the EIT scheme of the EU we gained experiences both in deep tech as well as social innovations’ acceleration. We use design thinking methodology and lean startup approach to design new products and services.

Sustainability

Women and girls experience the greatest impacts of the environmental crisis. Our vast experience in empowering women in the agrifood sector allows us to design gender-sensitive responses in the context of climate change. We are especially proud of the campaign #Parliaments4ThePlanet for the Inter-Parliamentary Union to mobilize parliaments to act on the climate emergency on the global level.
